I'm a Hoosier born and raised. When you think of South Bend, you think of Notre Dame. However, South Bend is a city rich in history. Studebaker cars were made here as well as Oliver plows and Ball Bands. The old mansions that were homes to these families are still standing. In the fall, the leaves change colors from green, to yellow, to red. It's football Sat and there is plenty to do. Take a walking tour of the historic district and look up at the architecture of the buildings. I love to tour old homes and imagine the family that lived there. I wish that walls could
